Booking and Cancellation Policy
  • By booking our cleaning services, you agree to pay the quoted price for the services rendered. 

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

  • No-show appointments will be charged the full service fee.

  • Your Cleaning Date & Time: All the details are sent via email or text. This includes the frequency and specifics of your cleaning plan.

  • Approximate Arrival: Traffic and other factors can affect our arrival. We aim to be punctual but appreciate your flexibility for any slight delays

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the cleaning appointment.

  • We accept payment via credit/debit card or Zelle.

  • You authorize us to place a hold and charge your credit card for the services provided.

Scope of Services

  • Our cleaning services include but are not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, and bathroom/kitchen sanitization.

  • Additional services that are not part of a standard or maintenance clean such as interior window cleaning, oven cleaning, and refrigerator cleaning are available upon request and may incur an additional fee.

  • Lucky Locals Cleaning Services provides an estimated time frame for the completion of our cleaning services, including standard, deep, and move-in/move-out cleanings. This estimation is based on a standard checklist of cleaning tasks.

  • We strive to complete these tasks within the estimated time frame. However, if a home has not been cleaned or is more dirty than a maintenance clean, or has not been deep cleaned for a while, a maximum time limit may apply to the cleaning job. This is to ensure that our cleaners are not burdened with excessive work beyond the scope of a standard cleaning service

  • In such cases, our cleaners will prioritize the tasks on the checklist to make the most effective use of the allotted time. If all tasks cannot be completed within the maximum time limit, additional cleaning appointments or an initial deep clean may be necessary.

  • We do not handle bug infestations, bodily fluids, or extensive grease or fire damage.

  • If our staff feels unsafe, we may leave or remove them. In such cases, you are still responsible for the full cost of the cleaning.

  •  Our services are dedicated to providing thorough cleaning for move-in/move-out scenarios. Please note, we do not offer garbage hauling services. It is the responsibility of the property owner or tenant to ensure all garbage and unwanted items are removed from the premises prior to our cleaning services. Our focus remains on enhancing the cleanliness and appeal of your property without the inclusion of junk removal tasks.

Communication Consent

  • By providing your contact information and using our services, you consent to receive service-related communications from Lucky Locals Cleaning Services. This includes, but is not limited to, appointment reminders, service updates, and promotional offers. These communications may be sent via email, text message, or other electronic means. If you wish to opt out of promotional communications, you may do so by following the unsubscribe instructions in these communications.

  • Please note that opting out of our communications does not absolve you of your responsibilities under these terms and conditions. Specifically, you remain responsible for any fees incurred due to late cancellations or no-shows, as outlined in our cancellation policy. We strongly recommend keeping a record of your scheduled appointments to avoid any such charges.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for securing pets during the cleaning service to ensure the safety of our staff.

  • Customers are responsible for providing access to the premises at the scheduled appointment time.

  • Customers must disclose any special instructions, security measures, or hazards present in the cleaning area. This includes, but is not limited to, the presence of mold, asbestos, or other hazardous materials. We reserve the right to refuse service in situations where the health and safety of our staff may be at risk.

  • Make your home accessible by providing a unique door code or lockbox code. A fee will be charged if we cannot access your home.

  • Turn off alarm systems. While we diligently disarm and rearm alarms according to your instructions, we are not responsible for false alarms or misuse of the alarm system.

  • You agree to hold us harmless and release us from liability related to alarm failures or improper arming.

  • For move-in/move-out cleanings, the customer is responsible for ensuring the apartment or home is ready for cleaning. This includes, but is not limited to, the removal of personal belongings and garbage. Our services do not include junk removal, and properties not adequately prepared may compromise the quality and scope of our cleaning services, as our team will need to work around these items or allocate time that could be spent on cleaning, thereby affecting the overall service quality.

  • By agreeing to our services, customers consent to the use of before and after photographs of their property for quality control and marketing purposes by Lucky Locals Cleaning Services. We guarantee the privacy of our clients will be protected, with no personal or identifiable information displayed without explicit consent.

  • House Temperature: Be sure to keep your home/building at a comfortable temperature for working conditions.

Liability

  • While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of your property, Lucky Locals Cleaning Services is not liable for any damages or loss incurred during the cleaning appointment, unless caused by negligence on our part.

  • Customers are advised to secure any valuable or fragile items prior to the arrival of our cleaning staff.

  • Additionally, we want to assure our clients that Lucky Locals Cleaning Service is bonded, licensed, and insured. These credentials provide peace of mind and demonstrate our commitment to professionalism and reliability.

Damage Claims

  • Any claims for damage must be reported to Lucky Locals Cleaning Services within 24 hours of the cleaning service. We will conduct an investigation into the claim and determine an appropriate course of action.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • We promise to deliver a professional cleaning service that is licensed, bonded, and insured.

  • We are committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with the result, please contact us within 24 hours of the service completion, and we will rectify the issue. Please note that we do not offer cash refunds or discounts; instead, we provide a redo service.

Non-Solicitation

  • During the term of this agreement and for a period of 12 months thereafter, you agree not to solicit or hire any staff member introduced to you by Lucky Locals Cleaning Services. A referral fee of $25,000 will be due immediately upon personal contracting and/or employment of the staff member, regardless of the employment terms.

Gift Certificates

  • Gift certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value. They are fully transferable and are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Promotions

  • Promotional offers cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Frequency discounts do not apply to move-in/move-out cleaning services.

Inclement Weather

  • Weather Considerations: We prioritize the safety of our staff. In extreme weather, we’ll reschedule your cleaning (if necessary)

Termination

  • Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. Booking and Cancellation Policy fees may still apply. Any payment for above said services owed by the client shall be due and payable at the time this agreement is terminated.

Privacy Policy

  • We respect the privacy of our customers and will not disclose any personal information to third parties without consent.

  • Any information provided to us will be used solely for the purpose of delivering our cleaning services.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Lucky Locals Cleaning Services reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
